Faith Comes From Hearing

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ”

Romans 10:17

We believe that faith comes from hearing the message, which is why it is so important to be in the Word daily. If you are looking for a good place to start, join us in our daily scripture reading plan.

We are currently reading the "Word of God Speak, Part 3" reading plan on the Bible app.

40 Days of Prayer

Both the Word (the sword of the Spirit) and prayer are essential parts of God's armor that we must put on in order to stand our ground against the evil one.

Each day there will one prayer focus and a chapter to read in the Bible.

June 29 -  Pray That our church will be open to, filled with and led by the Holy Spirit.

June 30 -  Pray for boldness in our conversations with others... always bathed in love, quick to listen, slow to speak, highly intentional following the Holy Spirit's leading

July 1 - Read Mark 1. Pray that the Jesus followers at Maple Grove will have a deep hunger to read the Bible like never before

July 2 - Read Mark 2. Pray for Christians across the nation to unite against the great deceiver, by putting their fear aside

July 3 - Read Mark 3. Pray that Christians will be much more passionate about 'the cause of Christ' then they are for any other cause

July 4 - Read Mark 4. Pray for those who are risking and giving their lives for our freedom... military, law enforcement and their families.

July 5 - Read Mark 5. Pray for Christ and His Gospel to be preached with power, boldness and clarity in every church across the nation.

July 6 - Read Mark 6. Pray that the racial tension/violence in our country will stop and real common sentence changes can be made. Read Mk 8, lets do this, Steve

July 7 - Read Mark 7. That God would give each of us one person to share His love with today.

July 8 – Read Mark 8. Pray for the church to be united as believers to further the Gospel

July 9 – Read Mark 9. Pray for our leaders, from local all the way to national, that they would work together to unite every level of society

July 10 – Read Mark 10. Pray for members of MGCC to invite people weekly to our online services

July 11 - Read Mark 11. Pray for our relationships: with our spouses, children, other family, friends, and anyone we interact with each day. Also for healing for any hurt/damage that so much time either together or apart may have caused.

July 12 - Read Mark 12. Pray for Christians to become more aware of the devil’s schemes in our increasingly anti-God world
